We First pay Homage to our Creator  with Whom all things are possible.

Romans 12:

1 Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your

bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God--this is your

spiritual act of worship.

2 Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be

transformed by the renewing of your mind . Then you will be able

to test and approve what God's will is--his good, pleasing and perfect will.

3 For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think

of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself

with sober judgment, in accordance with the measure of faith God has

given you.

4 Just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members

do not all have the same function,

5 so in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs

to all the others.

6 We have different gifts, according to the grace given us. If a man's gift is

prophesying, let him use it in proportion to his faith.

7 If it is serving, let him serve; if it is teaching, let him teach;

8 if it is encouraging, let him encourage; if it is contributing to the needs of others,

let him give generously; if it is leadership, let him govern diligently;

if it is showing mercy, let him do it cheerfully.

How simple it would have been to leave that pain.  He was able to calm the sea, still the wind, and feed the multitudes.  He who raised Lazarus could have easily escaped, or called a legion of Angels to his service.  He did nothing because of his love for you and me.

Serving the Lord

I truly believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. God Maker of the Universe and all it entails. I further believe and attest to by scriptural validation, that The Son of Man walked among us and performed miracles according to divine plan and in fulfillment of the law and thereby consecrating The Holy Scripture.  I know in my heart, and in my spirit that He hung on a Cross, and suffered even though, He could have removed Himself with but a thought.

I know that he died, and was laid to rest in a guarded tomb.  On the third day He rose without decay. He spoke to The Mary's as they where leaving the tomb.  He revealed Himself to His disciples.  Then he ascended into Heaven to sit at the right Hand of His Father. To await the time of God and his triumphant return

I thank God everyday for His Holy Lamb, and His Gift of Salvation: Although I could never be worthy of so great a gift. I strive to give everything given to me by God’s Holy hand to continue the mission he left for the twelve.

Yours In Service To My Lord Jesus Christ

All Praise The Holy Lamb Of God

News From around the World

Think you can believe everything you read in the paper, hear on the radio , or see on TV?

Newspapers tend to contain detailed information about local events but relatively little historical background or contextual information about international events.  If you rely solely on local newspapers for information, your knowledge of national and international news is likely to be incomplete at best, one-sided, or completely wrong at worst. Reading publications from other countries is one way to get a more balanced view of world events.

Joke of the Day

Dear GOD,
Maybe Cain and Abel would not kill each other so much
if they had their own rooms. It works with my brother. -Larry

Dear GOD,
I bet it is very hard for You to love all of everybody in the
whole world.  There are only 4 people in our family and I
can never do it. -Nan

Dear GOD,
Are You really invisible or is it just a trick? -Lucy

Dear GOD,
Is it true my father won't get in Heaven if he uses his
bowling words in the house? -Anita

Dear GOD,
Did You mean for the giraffe to look like that or was it
an accident? -Norma

Dear GOD,
I think the stapler is one of your greatest inventions. -Ruth

Dear GOD,
We read Thomas Edison made light. But in Sunday school
they said You did it. So I bet he stole your idea.

The call for a spiritual awakening is loud and clear both scripturally and  logically in a threatening existence.  The Following is from a daily devotional it may provide an alternative perspective or an agreeable and familiar aspect to everyday Christian existence.  It is important to have a positive spiritual base and all will never be lost with God on Our side.

DAILY DEVOTIONAL      THURSDAY JULY 4, 2002
(Proverbs 14:34)

The real problems in the United States.  God makes it clear in His Word
that it is no accident who our rulers are, and that it is God who puts those
rulers in office, and God who takes them out of office.  We are to honor,
respect, and pray for those God has placed in authority over us.  Some may
find this hard.  But praying for our enemies is hard too, but that is what
the Bible tells us to do.  It was the example our Lord gave us on the cross
as
He forgave those who nailed him to that tree.  Do you realize that  it was
God who allowed Adolph Hitler to rise to power?  It was God who allowed the
Emperors of Rome to hold office.  Never forget, the New Testament was
written under
the inspiration of the Holy Sprit during the time Rome was in power and
there
was mass persecution of Christians.  Yet God clearly calls us to pray for
our leaders.

We have many problems in the United States today.  Most of those problems
like Social Security reform, gas prices, employment, health care,
prescription drug benefits for our senior citizens are all in the news and
will be debated at length in the coming weeks, months, and years.  However,
these are logistical, practical problems.  The real problems we face in this
country are spiritual.  The practical application for your life today is
this. Whatever problems you are facing in your life are NOT the real
problems.  Your finances may be a major issue today.  Addiction to alcohol,
drugs, gambling, sex may be a major battle you are fighting.  Your marriage
may be in trouble.  There may be health issues you are being confronted
with.  All of these issues my friend are surface problems.  Practical day to
day real life issues we have to deal with, but the real problems in your
life, just like the real problems in this country are SPIRITUAL.

Anyone with common sense can look back on the brief history of the Untied
States and see the Biblical principles upon which it was founded and set up
to operate under.  There can be no doubt that the greatness of this country,
in spite of its' very young age compared to countries in the rest of the
world, are because of this personal relationship with God and His Word.  The
problems we face today are because we have forgotten God, tossed His Word to
the side, and decided to do it "our way".  No more prayer in school.  The
legalized killing of millions of babies every year.  God's plan for the
family perverted.  The bold and shameless marketing, making easy access to
every kind of sin imaginable.  Our great country, founded on Biblical
principles, has misappropriated the freedoms God gave us.  We have used our
freewill to consciously ignore God, to turn our back on Him.  God gave us
the ability to make that choice.  But never forget there are consequences
for our choices.  There are consequences for rebelling against God.

This country has lived off of the obedience to God of our forefathers.  We
have enjoyed the blessings of their faithfulness.  Unfortunately, the legacy
we will leave to our children and grandchildren, should Jesus tarry, will be
the consequences of our rebellion to God and His Word.  2 Chronicles 7:14
says, "if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and
pray and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear
from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land."
Deuteronomy 8:19 says, "If you ever forget the Lord your God and follow
other gods and worship and bow down to them, I testify against you today
that you will surely be destroyed."  It is not too late.  However, we need
spiritual leaders, who under the power of the Holy Spirit will call the
people of this great land to repentance.  IT IS NOT THE POLITICIANS JOB TO
DO THIS.  It is the job of the spiritual leaders, and only a spiritual
revival will solve the real problems of this country!!!

God is saying to those leaders today, to you pastors, to you who have been
given
a position of leadership, to those who have been blessed with a national and
international platform..."quit building a kingdom to yourself, and focus on
building my kingdom...my people are perishing for lack of knowledge...give
them the knowledge and lead them out of the darkness and into the
light...come down from your self-built ivory tower that has been lavishly
made with the blessings I have bestowed upon you...and feed my sheep...then
LEAD my sheep...thus sayeth the Lord God of Israel...."

My friend, I love you and care about you.  The relevance this word has to
your life today is that the same problem the country has is your problem.
You are focused on the external problems in your life, when the real
problems are spiritual.  Focus on that side of your life.  Get back to the
basics.  Pray daily.  Read the Word daily.  Get in church.  Find ways to
serve God.  Set your spiritual base, since everything in your life, who you
are, flows from there.  As you solidify your spiritual base, you will find
the
day to day problems easier to handle.  I am praying for you.  I am praying
that just as this country needs a spiritual revival, you have a spiritual
revival in your own life.  That is the answer to building the foundation on
which
your life is built.

In His love and service,
Your friend and brother in Christ,
Bill Keller

DEVELOP THE DO-IT-NOW Habit

SUCCESS ARTICLE!

DEVELOP THE DO-IT-NOW HABIT
by Tom Hopkins

Self-Discipline really encompasses nearly everything in life. Do you remember in school when you were given 30 days to write a term paper? Did you start it that first night?

Most of us didn't. Instead, we thought about it every night. "Got to get moving on that ratty project. But I've got almost a whole month left--it can wait." As time goes by, worry about getting a failing grade looms larger in our minds. At first the pain of starting the term paper is greater than our concern about the failing grade, so after a week we still haven't started. Two weeks go by. What are we doing every night before we go to sleep? Worrying about that F. "I better start. Tomorrow I'll get moving on it."

A week before the term paper is due, the F is getting larger--but it's still not quite large enough to offset the pain of working at preventing it. All of a sudden there are only three days left before it's due, and at last the F looms larger than the pain of working on the term paper. So we start.

As you lay it out you begin feeling some enthusiasm. "This isn't bad. I may get an A if I do this and do that." When you walk in with your paper you're happy, but you wasted 27 days worrying about starting. In other words, you operated at a deficit emotionally for 27 days when you could have been in the profit column the whole time. Move into the emotional profit column right now; starting today, get your priority tasks and actions handled promptly. Plan your actions, then act on your plans. Apply this determination to every area of your life and it will make an enormous difference in your income, growth rate in business as well as, your satisfaction and growth rate personally.

The portrait of a man who was being called the Whiz Kid on Wall Street appeared on the cover of a national magazine a many years ago. He was one of the first to put a conglomerate together, and some of the federal laws affecting business in the early 70's came about because of the trends that his creativity set off. At the time he was 42; he was running one of the largest industrial combines in the country, the conglomerate he had built himself. So the magazine had assigned a journalist and a team of researchers to do an in-depth report on this entrepreneur.

One of the researchers went to the small city the dynamic executive had left 15 years earlier. A few items turned up there about an alcoholic with the same name who had been sleeping on park benches at that time. The researcher passed this information along, and as the journalist was concluding his interview with the Wall Street powerhouse in his plush office, the journalist laughed and said, "Believe it or not, a man with your exact name was sleeping on park benches and getting ousted by the police when you lived in your home town. I guess the poor guy was a real wino. Isn't that something?"

The president looked up and smiled. "That was me," he said.

The reporter was flabbergasted. "This can't be. You're kidding."

The president of the conglomerate leaned back in his leather chair and shook his head. "I'm not kidding. The wino sleeping off drinks on park benches was me."

The journalist stared at him for a moment and realized that the man was telling the truth. He also realized that now he had a whole new story. When his apologies were waved aside, he said, "I have to ask, what made you change?"

Listen to what he said because so many people fit this mold: "When I was sleeping under newspapers in the park 15 years ago, I knew that someday I would do what I'm doing now. I was just waiting until I was ready to start."

Do you know how many people are like that? "Well, next year's my year. I'm going to get to work then. You just wait and see--right after the first of the year I'm going to start shaping up." But of course the time to get going never quite comes for most people. They have good intentions, but are lacking the two most vital components of any good deed: the motivation to begin and a strategic plan to keep them moving forward.

You see, by not beginning, you're not risking failure, but you're also confining yourself to the level of success you current have. If you're happy with that, fine. If not, make that plan and get fired up!

If your potential for greater success is nagging at you, don't wait. Time is flying by so fast. Start today to achieve the greatness you know is within you.

See you on the calls!
Michael
